Mr. Mandla Manzini

Holds a Degree in Human & Social Sciences majoring in Public Administration and Development Administration, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Mr. Manzini is currently studying towards a Master of Commerce in Leadership with the University of KwaZulu Natal. He joined KwaDukuza Municipality on the 2nd of June 2003. Between 2003 and 2011, he moved from the Deputy Director: Policy & Research, (2003/04 to a Director responsible for IDP (2004/12), IDP & PM&E (2005), Human Settlement (2005/07). In 2012, Mr Manzini was appointed as an Executive Director: Corporate Governance, and as a Chief Operations Officer in 2015.

About Corporate Governance:

  • The Corporate Governance Unit is responsible for Performance Management Systems (PMS), Integrated Development Planning (IDP), Internal Audit, Corporate Communications and Public Participation. The unit’s primary focus is ensuring corporate governance, fluent internal controls, and to provide support services to citizens in order to enable them to influence decisions taken by the Council and thereby leading to improved co-operation and partnership between citizens and the Council.
