Mr. Sibusiso Jali

Holds the BscEng (Electrical) Degree from UKZN and the MEng (Project Management) from UP. He is a registered Professional Engineer with ECSA; as well as Certified Engineer (GCC-factories). At Eskom he was involved in Planning, Design, Operating, Maintenance and Construction of Electrical Networks. Past positions include, Consulting Engineer responsible for Electrical Power Reticulation Projects; Project Manager responsible For Installing, Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance of Medium and Low Voltage Electrical Systems; Electrical Systems Manager at Gautrain responsible for Operations and Maintenance, and as the Engineering Manager responsible for the Animal Feed Manufacturing Plant.

About Electrical Engineering Services:

  • KwaDukuza Electrical Unit deal with electrical connection, Sub-Station, street light connection and upgrading. They embarked on a massive electricity infrastructure upgrades and utilized the electricity master planning project which is a strategic tool that is used to identify and priorities capital projects.
  • KwaDukuza has constructed new Sub-Stations & Switch-Rooms, Siyembezi Substation, Sheffield Substation, Ballito Old CBD switch-room, KwaDukuza Hesto Switch-Room, Bilks Switch-room, Industrial substation upgrade, Saunders Street Switch-room, Hydrangea switch room, KwaDukuza CBD switch room and Lloyd power station, Lloyd power station is a huge project aimed at providing support to the Glenhills power station in order to minimise power cuts.
