MN 215-2022 : Expressions of Interest for the Establishment of a Panel of Contractors Grades 4 CE to 6 CE (Civil Engineering) and Grades 4 GB to 6 GB (General Building) for Rehabilitation and Creating of new Municipal Public Infrastructure within KwaDukuza Municipality for a period of 36 months.

KwaDukuza Municipality hereby invites Civil Engineering Contractors with a CIDB Grading of 4CE to 6 CE (Civil Engineering ) and 4 GB to 6 GB (General Building) to submit their information (as per the submission data) with the intention of creating a panel of contractors over a three-year term without commitment to a quantum of work. The extent of scope entails appointment of contractors to provide services relating to;

• Rehabilitation of storm damaged roads/stormwater/bridges and buildings/halls/sport facilities.

• Construction of new municipal infrastructure including roads/stormwater/bridges and buildings/halls/sport facilities

• Rehabilitation of any other Municipal Infrastructure

The physical address for collection of Expression of interest document is: The KwaDukuza Municipality, Civil Services Department, PMU Building, 2 Industrial Crescent, KwaDukuza, upon presentation of a receipt proving prior payment of a non-refundable fee of R 727.00 (inclusive of VAT), having been made at the Municipal Finance Directorate, General Justice Mpanza Building, 104 Mahatma Gandhi Street, KwaDukuza (Cash only). A compulsory clarification meeting, with representatives of the Employer, will take place at the KwaDukuza Municipality: PMU Boardroom, Lavoipierre Building, 2 Industria Crescent, KwaDukuza, 4450 on 14 December 2022 Starting at 12H00 Late attendance will not be accepted, and tenderers will NOT be admitted into the meeting venue. Only those tenderers who are in possession of a tender document shall be permitted to participate in discussion at the compulsory clarification meeting and site inspection.

All Bidders need to adhere to COVID19 regulations. The Expression of interest document/s shall be placed in sealed envelope, endorsed with Establishment of a Panel of Contractors - Grades 4 CE to 6 CE (Civil Engineering ) and Grades 4 GB to 6 GB (General Building )for Rehabilitation and Creating of new Municipal Public Infrastructure within KwaDukuza Municipality and be placed in the Tender Box at the Municipal Offices Lavoipierre Yard, Stores building: No.2 Industria Crescent Lavoipierre SCM / Stores KwaDukuza,not later than 12h00 on 24TH January 2023, which time the tenders will be opened in public.
