The extended contract, Tender MN 128/2013 held by ABSA Bank for Provision of Banking Services ends on 31 December 2024.
The KwaDukuza Municipality wishes to extend the existing agreement from the
01 January 2025 to 30 June 2025, in respect of Tender MN 128/2013, Provision of Banking Services.
Reason being that the municipality embarked on a tender process and currently attending to the appeals before finalizing the process.
Members of the public are hereby called to submit representations to the municipality by no later than
12h00 noon on the 27 January 2025 for the attention of Mr M Nene and email: mthandenin@kwadukuza.gov.za or hand deliver to Finance Offices, 104 Mahatma Gandhi Street, KwaDukuza.
The extension is in terms of Section 116 (3) of the Municipal Finance Management Act 56 of 2003.
The purpose of the extension is to enable the Municipality to comply with the Municipal Finance Management Act 56 of 2003 allowing the municipality another opportunity to advertise for banking services.
