SALARY: R1 055 080.00 (Minimum) – R1 241 269.00 (Midpoint) – R1 427 459.00 (Maximum): The pay scale will be determined by competence.

CONTRACT PERIOD: 5 YEARS FIXED-TERM

CENTRE: KWADUKUZA

REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration / Management Sciences/Law or equivalent. 5 years’ relevant experience at middle management level; and must have proven successful administration experience within the public or private sector. Compliance with the MFMA: Minimum Competency Levels in unit standards as per Government Notice No. R493 of Gazette No. 29967 of 15 June 2007. A person who does not meet minimum competency levels in unit standards will be given an opportunity attain the minimum competency levels within 18 months from the date of appointment.

Requirements: A Gr.12+ relevant B Degree majoring in Accounting and either Auditing, Managerial Accounting or Economics, Computer literate (MS Word & Excel); A valid Code B/08 driver’s license; At least 5 years of experience at a tactical level within a municipal revenue environment in managing municipal revenues.

ASSISTANT PROJECT COORDINATOR (01 position): KWADUKUZA MEO OFFICE

Job Purpose: To contribute towards strengthening electoral democracy processes by assisting in coordinating the projects and programs of the Electoral Commission at the municipal level towards the NPE2019

Minimum Requirements: A tertiary qualification or alternatively Matric/N3 plus at least 2 years relevant working experience (i.e. administrative and/or project management) and a valid driver’s licence. Prior electoral experience and knowledge of electoral legislations, processes and procedures will be an added advantage.

Other requirements:

1. Must reside or be familiar with the municipality in which the application is made

2. Must have knowledge of the municipality and leadership skills

3. Must not hold any political position or be involved in any political parties’ campaigns

4. Should possess a driver’s licence and have access to a car that can be used for work purposes (where required).

30 x SEASONAL LIFEGUARDS

Gr.10 at an NQF level 2, Certificate in Surf Proficiency Award & a retest certificate. Relevant 6 months relevant experience in surf life-saving. Be physical fit and be able to do a physical fitness test.
